- Check that the gas pilot is on
- Check your fuel supply
- Check the air filter. If it is dirty, replace it or clean it.

Do I need to cover my air conditioner in the winter?
On older units, we recommend a simple cover, such as a piece of plywood and a heavy object on top of it to cover
your air conditioner top. The newer Trane® units already have a weather resistant top. The sides of your Trane®
unit are also made of weather resistant material.
What do I need to do to request a bid?
For new construction, mail or bring in a blueprint and we will provide you with a NO COST,
NO OBLIGATION quotation. For replacements, we will schedule an appointment to come to your
home to provide you with an accurate quotation on a replacement system. This is also at NO COST or OBLIGATION.
What type of warranty comes with my new Trane furnace?
A one year labor warranty and a 5 year functional parts warranty is included on any new furnace we install.
Additional 10 or 15 year Extended Parts and Labor warranties can be purchased to give you peace of mind.
How often should I replace my furnace filter?
Depending on the type of filter you have, we recommend that you inspect the filter every 4 months.
Replace it if necessary. We stock and sell Spacegard/Aprilaire as well as pleated filters for your
convenience. Electronic air filters should be cleaned every 3 months.
